Buffalo Bills (0-2) at New England Patriots (1-1)
The Bills will assume the role of the New York Jets against the Pats this weekend, as, just like New York a couple of weeks ago, Buffalo looked terrible in a loss to Green Bay last Sunday. Can the Bills extend the analogy and upset the boys from Beantown just like the Jets did? Uh… probably not, but it is interesting to note that the last time New England beat Buffalo by more than 13 points was in 2007, when the Patriots finished the year a perfect 16-0 and the Bills were 7-9. In an effort to keep that streak of close games intact, Buffalo coach Chan Gailey has opted to start Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback in lieu of the struggling Trent Edwards.
“Any time you’re a coach and somebody doesn’t play up to where you think they should, you feel like you haven’t done a good enough job,” Gailey explained. “Obviously something needed to change and we had to have a change for the look of our offense and the feel of our offense and try to get something going differently.”

In his only previous start against New England, Fitzpatrick completed 17 of 25 passes (68.0 percent) for 178 yards, one touchdown, one interception and an 85.1 passer rating in a 17-10 Bills home loss on Dec. 20.
